Tankco Services of Texas Corp.
Tankco is a subsidiary of USES Corp., parent company to USES and part of the USSG, and is managed by Barry Seabranch, formerly with Tankco. The new entity has combined the expertise and experience of Mr. Seabranch and his staff with the resources of USES, which should prove to enhance safety, support, employee benefits and insurance coverage for operations, while providing additional resources and administrative support.
As part of the USES team in Houston, Tankco will provide a variety of services, including storage tank cleaning, vapor recovery, vacuum truck services and general in-plant maintenance. Tankco brings to USES an experienced staff of multi-skilled and site-specific trained employees.
Since 1996, the Tankco team has cleaned an average of 250 tanks per year, of varying capacities, ranging from as little as a few hundred gallons to 300,000 barrels. Tankco has dealt with a broad array of chemicals, from flammable products such as Propylene Oxide to Aniline Oil, which is highly poisonous.
In 2003, Vapor Combustion Technologies initiated a valuable service to Tankco customers that were required to control vapors in order to comply with the environmental laws of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). Tankco has provided vapor recovery services on approximately fifty tank projects per year and has developed an outstanding reputation for reliability in this area.
